Ingredients

butter

garlic

wild rice
uncooked

water

salt

green onions (green tops)
thinly sliced

chopped basil

tsp
thyme

tbsp
fresh parmesan cheese
Instructions
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
Add garlic and saute for one minute to release flavor and aroma.
Add rice and stir to coat.
Increase heat to high, add water and salt and bring to boil.
Cover and reduce heat to simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in onions, basil and thyme.
Serve with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top.
Notes
Substitute jasmine rice or brown rice if preferred. If substituting rice variety, then follow directions on rice for proportion of rice to water.
