top sirloin

tomato juice

yellow onions
cut in wedges

fresh mushrooms
sliced

thyme

butter

sour cream

wide noodles
Instructions
Cut top sirloin into strips, cutting across the grain.
Coat each strip of sirloin with flour.
Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat.
Brown the sirloin.
Add the minced garlic to pan and cook for one minute.
Add into pan the beef broth, tomato juice, onions, mushrooms, thyme, butter, salt and pepper.
Turn heat to low, and cook until onions are tender, about 20 minutes.
While the stroganoff is cooking, boil water and cook noodles according to package directions.
When onions are tender, turn off heat and stir in sour cream.
Serve over noodles.
