I love to start the day with a fresh fruit smoothie. A classic smoothie is made with strawberries, bananas and orange juice. Whether you are traditional or want to try one of these other smoothie recipes, starting the day with a healthy smoothie incents you to stay healthy the rest of the day and leaves you in a good mood.
Variations of Classic Smoothie
This is where a personal size blender comes in super handy! In the blender cup I use one banana, loosely add frozen mixed berries to the top, add 1 tsp of powdered ginger (fresh if I have it on hand), and fill with orange juice. The ginger gives it a little spicy zest.
